The event took place last June, while today Greek police have cuffed the two suspects. The 68-year-old had been found dead on the morning of June 17th.
The victim's daughter, in her testimony to the police, had indicated that her father had called her at 2:40 a.m. and had told her that she had faced several robbers. When the girl went to her father's workplace, she found him beaten and bound.
He was taken to the hospital, but doctors found that he had lost his life. The death of 68-year-old Albanian was caused by blows to the head, chest and right arm. One of the alleged authors reportedly had worked in the same company as Albanian. According to “Kathmerini”, he claimed that the company owed some money and would therefore steal the equipment. But the robbers faced the Albanian guard, whom they attacked, bound and beat, causing him to die.
The authors are persons with criminal precedent and known to Greek authorities. Previously, they were arrested for involvement in criminal organizations, robbery, theft, drug trafficking and illegal possession. /tvclean. al
