In addition to beaches, holidays, tourists, televisions, mountain or sea trips this August year had a dark side. Although not everyone has been thinking about the news, the hottest month of this year has been even the bloodiest of crimes. There is no shortage of accidents or drownings on beaches that may even be prevented, but the worst is that every four days a murder has occurred. Radda crimes have had a geographical distribution throughout the country, such as Tirana, Durres, Vlora, Fier, Elbasan until Mirday.
The killing series was to begin on August 1st, where Feriz Bardi was executed at the door of his residence in Durres. He was a popular name for the police after being arrested in Italy for drug trafficking. Some people were waiting outside the apartment, and as soon as he got out, he was hit with a hail of Kalashikov. According to witnesses at the scene, some people have called the victim and shot him as soon as he got out. It is alleged that the authors have long preserved the 40-year-old with intent to execute him. The main course of investigation appears to be drug conflicts, but police are continuing investigations and there is still no suspected author.
A day later, (August 2nd) gun shots would shake Elbasan. In the center of town, there was a triple gun injury, but fortunately no casualties. It was said that there was a dispute over banal motives, but it also did not rule out debt issues that had been settled with weapons. A few days later, Ilirjan Bezhani, 34, resident of Elbasan, was put in handcuffs and 42-year-old Gent Page, resulting in police-capped pres, convicted earlier.
On August 4th would be Vlora's turn. In the afternoon, he was to be executed at his locale near the beach, Arben Beqiri. On the evening of August 8th, Selenica was executed on the street Dilaver Tozaj, also known as Nikola Ikonomi. The 47-year-old was shot seven times in the head and chest. It is suspected that he was a single author, because he was shot very closely and then quickly left the scene using the fact that there was no light. The victim was former criminal precaution, where in 2011 the Court of Appeal for War Crimes has sentenced him to 6 years and 8 months in prison for drug trafficking.
The killing series would continue on the morning of August 12th, where it was found in the vicinity of Fier, stabbed in the throat and thrown into the 23-year-old Florian Selimi channel. Police reportedly arrested the two alleged perpetrators of the assassination, a 26-year-old and a 20-year-old. They allegedly killed the young man for poor motives. The young man from Tropoja had been living in the village of Sulla, Fier, where the two suspected perpetrators live.
On the same day, in the center of Pentecost, Armando Gyne, also known as Tony Jinn, was to be executed. The 48-year-old was not an unknown police name. He was listed as one of Matt Canan's group, known as one of the drug barons. Police were prosecuted by perpetrators of the assassination, but unable to make their mark.
On August 22nd, the killings would be moved to Tirana. The 26-year-old Indri Kelaj, who worked as a air conditioning technician, was shot to the head by the son of the owner of the building where he was working on “Myslym Sfili”. Police have declared in search of two brothers, the sons of the owner of the villa, where he worked 26-year-old, as suspected authors of the event. There are 4 persons in the cell accused of “masquerading the crime” and “Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth”.
On 27 August another crime would shake Tirana. 26-year-old ex-cop Santiago Malko was shot dead on the “Gianfize Keko” street in Tirana. The authors cut off the road with a van, and after striking hail, they fled to Ferreaj village, where they burned their car and lost track. Santiago Malko was also a known person for Tirana police. It was effective patrols during 2015-2016. In early 2016 he left the police to do business. In April of that year, he had a run-in with the Diamonds and Gentian Lashi brothers because of the conflicts about sports bets that searched the area. Malko was allegedly present when the massacre occurred at the “Monopol” bar in Block on October 4th 2018, where a person was killed and 2 others wounded.
