The union of Pristina International Airport (ANP) has warned a general strike, without deadlines.
According to the Union communiqué, women continue on Sunday and continue until the requirements are met.
Dear colleagues,
We thank you for the participation and support of all who were solidified with the three-day strike for the realisation of our rights.
During these three days despite the pressure, we showed an example of the determination to exercise our basic right, such as the strike for realising our rights.
We understand all our colleagues who, without their will during the strike, have accomplished their duties and do not hold much resentment and so little patience, invite them to join the strike as well because it is legal and in the best interests of all.
Dear colleagues, even after three days of strike management has not reflected positively on our demands so we consider that our path to their realisation must continue. The fact is that we haven't had legal right to continue the strike because it had to be announced 72 hours ago because it's legal duty, and we as unionists are always respecting legitimacy. The Assembly today, dated 21.08.2019, has decided that the strike will continue on Sunday starting at 7: 00 p.m. and will continue until the realization of our legitimate demands. Dear colleagues, during this three-day legal term, if you have any pressure, threat to any form of participation in the strike please report the case to the police and inform me or your union representative.
During this time, we allow management to reflect and invite us into concrete dialogue to implement our legal requirements”.
