Their requests are considered based on the contract they have with the airport. We're meeting all the demands of the labor-employment contract, while their demands based on the collective contract are considered illegal. The employees refer to the obligations of the contract they have with us”, she said.
As far as workers have stated that if the demands are not met, they will protest again, Gara said that “any requests that line on the basis of legal channels would be respected by Limak Company, but would not risk the safety of travellers”.
International airport workers Adem Jasharı during today have held a one-hour protest through which they have requested meeting their demands. Among their demands, he has cited compensation and other risks for riskiness, eliminating pay differences, paying job experience, working hours during weekends paid according to labour law, and paying the staff.
