70 arrested after an operation against child trafficking

The European Agency for Co-operation among Criminal Police has supported a pan-European operation against minority trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation, forced begging and forced employment”, Europol stressed in a communiqué.
The operation has led to the arrest of 34 people for exploiting human beings and 36 other individuals for theft, sexual exploitation of children and facilitating illegal immigration.
