Wessel in the US Takes Support for NATO Army Membership and Investment by American Company

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseline has met in Washington Democrat Senator Gary Peters and Republican Congressman Vern Buchan, with whom he has discussed political developments in Kosovo and the region, as well as co-operation between the Republic of Kosovo and the US.

Through a media communiqué from the Parliament, it is said that during its meeting with Senator Gary Peters, who is a member of the US National Security Committee, Wessel spoke of the future of the Kosovo Army and its co-operation with the US Army.

Senator Peters, for his part, reportedly in the communique, voiced support for the future of the Kosovo Army towards NATO membership.

While meeting with Congressman Vern Buchanan, Wessel has discussed trade issues and promoting American investments in Kosovo.

As reported in the communiqué, Wessel said Kosovo has the potential for economic development and already has modern infrastructure for foreign investors.

While Congressman Vern Buchan said he is interested in promoting American companies to invest in Kosovo in different sectors.
