Prime Minister Kadri Veselini has indicated that he has submitted the request for the establishment of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission, which will investigate the inflated lists of Kosovo Liberation Army veterans.
Wessel has written on his Facebook page that no one will be above the law and that, as he has promised, he will be uncompetitive in the fight against corruption, nepotism and abuse of power.
Kosovo Liberation Army is too big to abuse. KLA soldiers have not fought to benefit themselves, but to win Kosovo, for its citizens to gain freedom and perspective. Deceiters who have swollen veterans' lists are hurting the KLA's name and abusing our citizens' money. This will be over. As I promised, we will wage a war of uncompetitive anti-corruption, nepotism and abuse of power. Therefore, I have already submitted the request for the establishment of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission, which will investigate the issue of the enormous veterans' lists and for them to be cleared. No one will be above the law”, Vessel wrote.
On the list of signatories of the request for the investigative commission, besides Kadri Wessel, there are another 7 PDK deputies who were also part of the Kosovo Liberation Army. They are: Fadil Beka, Bekim Haxhiu, Fatmir Jeleli, Hajdar Beqa, Xhavit Haliti, Elmi Recica, Rafet Rama./Periscopi/
