The VV is waiting for LDK to complete internal elections and bring down Government

The VV has already stated publicly that it is ready for the motion hearing for the government's collapse and that if it is possible, they can do it tomorrow. The LDK is currently holding the internal electoral process, expected to be completed within July and will immediately take steps to bring down the current Government.

VV MP Rexhep Selimi, in a proposal for Online Economy, says the VV cannot go alone in this session without co-ordinating with partners and other factors in the Kosovo Assembly, and especially with the LDK having ongoing co-operation.

“The LDK has indicated that they want to have in advance the signatures of all MPs that are needed to vote. But I also assume within the LDK an electoral process is under way, where within July this process will be completed and they will still be more defined as to how it will work, yet it is important that the LDK, like the VDK, but other deputies in the Kosovo Assembly, including not only opposition MPs, are willing to go into this session for the government's fall motion and vote for the collapse of the government”, Selimi said.

Selimi over statements by MPs in the position for the opposition's courage to overthrow the government calls them low-level and disparaging, and that the position has never exposed the opposition by actions they had to take.

“The majority rhetoric is provocatively derogatory to a thing that turns out to be not only necessary, but also necessary as early elections are just tells us that we are dealing with an inadequate and unworthy government for Kosovo”, Selimi told Online Economy.

Selimi has said the government has also given up on the Kosovo Parliament, which is currently not functional.

While regarding the dismissal of ministers who have the indictment, Selimi says the Government cannot fight corruption because I struggle with it.
