Also, the statement says that Serbia's EU accession represents the common strategic goal and expresses the desire to create very quickly the conditions for the renewal of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, so that a mutually acceptable solution can be reached, Serbian media broadcast today.
At Vuciq's invitation, France's President Emmanuel Macron remained on official visit to Serbia on 15 July and 16 July.
In this case, both leaders have confirmed a common commitment to democratic values and human rights, rule of law and multilaterism, and they expressed their readiness to contribute to peace, prosperity and stability in Europe and the world.
In addition to the necessary economic reforms, in which Serbia shows significant progress, the two statesmen stressed the need for greater efforts in the area of rule of law, fundamental rights, strengthening democratic institutions and public administration reform.
They agreed that bilateral disputes will be resolved through bilateral negotiations, in accordance with international law and trust.
On the occasion of marking the 180th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Serbia, the two citizens agreed to continue implementing the Strategic Partnership and Co-operation Agreement signed by the government of France and Serbia on 8 April 2011.
To that end, they decided to continue high-level political dialogue, strengthen their co-operation in the field of security and defence, promote cultural exchange and Francophony, work together for Serbia's EU integration and develop an economic exchange, especially in the field of innovation.
