This is US vote statement in Albania

The American Embassy in Tirana has announced today that the United States welcomes the results of the ODIHR monitoring mission, under which the June 30th municipal elections were generally held calmly and fairly, as well as gave a positive overall assessment of the vote count. We accept, however, just like [...]
“We do admit, however, as the ODIHR mission noted, that concern and political polarisation contributed to elections in which voters did not have a meaningful choice. Despite the obstacles, both those who participated in the elections and those who abstained exercised their democratic right peacefully and we congratulate them on this”, the US Embassy's letter to Tirana says.
“at this moment, we urge all political leaders to respect the rule of law and work within the institutions set up to set the way forward for Albanian democracy, including progress with key and electoral reforms recommended by the ODIHR. Those who wish to challenge the outcome of the elections can expect from the Constitutional Court, which we hope will be established soon with judges who have gone through a rigorous property process”, says the Embassy's letter.
At the end of the message from the Embassy, it is said that, as always, the United States is at the side of the Albanian people as a partner country, a friend and an ally.
“We are committed to helping strengthen the rule of law and build a stronger democracy and a brighter future for all Albanians”.
