In the middle of the barren desert of Nevada, there is a dirt trail leading to the front gate of the 51st Zone. It is protected by a chain fence, a gate, and some frightening signs.

Beyond the gate, cameras see everyone. In the remote hill, there's a white truck with a painted glass that looks down at everything. The locals say that the base has knowledge of every desert turtle. Others claim to have sensors fixed on the near road.

But what actually happens in “Zone 51”?

Exactly what happens within “Zone 51” is still unknown, and for decades there has been speculation. Words exist within it where the galactic visitors live. One of the most common rumors is that there is a Soviet plane that crashed in 1947, and its remains are located inside “Zones 51”

Some even believe the American government filmed the 1969 moon in one of the base barns.

For all myths and legends, what's true is that “Zona 518x1> is true and still very active. There may be no aliens or images of the moon inside these fences, but something is going on and only a few of them are present on what's going on next on that surveillance street in Nevada.

“The forbidden order to see what happens in “Zonen 51” is what makes people wonder what's there”, says Airspace historian who has studied “Zona 51”, for more than three decades.

The Origin of a Mystery

The beginning of the mystery for “Zone 51” is directly linked to the development of U-2 detection aircraft. After World War II, the Soviet Union lowered the iron curtain around itself and the rest of the eastern bloc, creating an end to intelligence for the rest of the world. When the Soviets supported the invasion of North Korea in South Korea in June 1950, it became increasingly clear that the Kremlin would aggressively expand its influence. America was worried about technology, goals and the ability of the USSR to launch an unexpected attack just a decade away from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

In the early 1950 ' s, US Navy and Air Force sent low-flying jets to UCR intelligence missions, but they were in constant danger of falling. In November 1954, President Eisenhower approved the secret development of a high - detection plane called U-2. One of the first business orders was to find a distant, secret country for training and testing. They found him in the southern Nevada desert near a residence called Lake Groom, which this country once served World War II for Air Army pilots.

Known with his map as “Zona 51”, this country did not become a new secret military base. To convince the workers to go there, Kelly Johnson, one of the leading engineers of the U-2 project, gave him a more attractive name: Paradise Ranch.

Myth Making

The U-2 test began in July 1955, and reports were quickly flooded over unidentified flight discoveries. If you read the details in a 1992 CIA report, which was declassified in 1998 (and then released almost entirely in 2013), it is easy to understand why.

Many of these discoveries were observed by air pilots who had never seen a plane fly to such heights as U-2. While modern aircraft can fly up to 45 thousand feet, in the mid - 1950 ' s, airlines flew at altitudes between 10,000 and 20,000 feet. The famous military aircraft could reach 40,000 feet, and some believed that the flight directed could not go beyond that. U-2, flying at altitudes of over 60,000 feet, would appear completely foreign.

Of course, Air Force officials knew that most of these inexplicable discoveries were U-2 tests, but they were not allowed to reveal these details to the public. Thus, “natural phenomenon” or “high weather research” became an explanation for UFO discoveries, including in 1960, when the U-2 of Gary Powers was shot over Russia.

What is also interesting about the latest 2013 report is that it confirms the existence of “Zone 51”. While the 1998 version has important editing when referring to the name and location of the U-2 testing site, the almost incorrect version of 2013 reveals much more, including many references to “Zone 51”, Lake Groom and even a map of the area.

“This is land technology”

U-2 operations were suspended in the late 1950s, but other top military secret planes continued testing at “Zonen 51”. Over the years, A-12 planes and others like Bird of Presy, F-117A and TACIT BLUE have all developed and tested in the Nevada desert. More declassified documents reveal the role of “Zona 51” in “Project Have Donut”, a 1970s attempt to study Soviet secret MiGs.

They flew them [on page 51].. and set our fighters against them to develop tactics”, says Merlyn, “They learned that you cannot return the plane, but you could get over it. Today... Now, instead of watching MiG-17 and 21, there are MiG-29 and SU-27. ”

Flights are under way. In September 2017, a Lt Air Force pilot. Col., he was killed in mysterious circumstances when his plane crashed in Nevada and the Pentagon didn't immediately identify the plane.

However, foreign plots intensified in 1989, when Bob Lazar announced in an interview in Las Vegas that he had seen foreigners and helped engineer foreign ships during his work at the base. Many have ignored this as a trial and are offended even for this idea, including Merlyn, who has spent years talking to former engineers and employees of “Zone 51”, angry by all concerns about the E.T.

Some of them are even crazy because they worked on these things and built these amazing” aircraft, Merlin says. This is Earth technology. You claim it's an alien object when it's actually an American object”.

The truth is there

Today, “Zona 51” is still very much in use. According to Google Earth, new construction and expansion are happening constantly. In most early mornings, visitors with eagle eyes can see strange lights in the sky moving up and down. No, it's not a UFO. It's actually the semi-secret commercial airline contract, using the “Janet” sign that drives workers from Las Vegas's McCarran Airport to the base.

As for what's happening these days at the most secret military base in America, we hardly know for sure. Merlyn has some researched assumptions, including improved hidden technology, advanced weapons, electronic warfare systems, and, in particular, aircraft without a pilot.

While knowledge of the 51st Area can be nothing more than fantasy, it will prevent people from going just beyond the fences of chains. At the most fundamental level, whenever you have something secret or forbidden, it's human nature”, Merlin says. “You want to understand what it is. ”
