Thaci: I believe in purity of the KLA and high moral values of freedom soldiers

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has reacted after Prime Minister Haradinaj's resignation.

But in his announcement, Thaci writes that the former head of the UCK General Staff, Bislim Office, has also been invited.

For Haradinaj's resignation, he says that after this situation, he will act based on his competencies as president.

Here's Thaci's reaction.

I regret that the Special Court has invited former KLA Chief of General Staff, Bislim Office, at once my adviser, former commander of the Dukagjin Operative Zone, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, and several other former KLA superiors. I was now informed by the media of Kosovo Republic Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's decision to step down irrevocable from his position. I respect his decision and as president of the Republic of Kosovo I assure you that he will act based on my constitutional and legal competencies, for which Kosovo citizens will be announced over time. I believe in the purity of the Kosovo Liberation Army war and believe in the high moral values of freedom soldiers. Neither the values of our freedom nor the KLA war can be violated! HTH
