Thaci: Kosovo is grateful for Canada's support

“I am personally grateful for the establishment of bilateral co-operation between our two countries in a added dynamic”, President Thaci said.
The head of the country has said Kosovo is grateful to Canada for its continued support.
Kosovo is grateful to Canada that it has continued to support it in any initiative, in any international organisation and forum”, adding further that “I am happy that we have begun concrete co-operation in the field of security and defence, but also in the economy”, said President Thaci.
On the other hand, Ambassador Maksymik expressed satisfaction with the co-operation he has had with Kosovo institutions, as well as with increased co-operation between the two countries.
“Canada supports efforts for lasting peace in Kosovo and the region and Kosovo's aspirations for NATO and EU membership”, Ambassador Maksymiuk has said.
President Thaci said Kosovo can learn much from Canada's experiences and thanked Ambassador Maksymiu for launching several such initiatives from which the state and Kosovo society will benefit.
At the end of the meeting, President Thaci congratulated Ambassador Maksymiu on success in his new commitments.
