Thaci expects EULEX chief at summit

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, will host EULEX chief Alexander Papadopoulos at the summit today.

The meeting will be held in the cabinet of the head of state starting at 0900.

By contrast, Papadopoulos is a senior Greek diplomat with extensive experience in the Balkans, who has previously served in Kosovo as chief of Greece's Interconnection Office in 2000.

She has also served as Greece's Permanent Representative to the European Union in Brussels, as well as as as the general director of EU affairs at the Greek Foreign Ministry during the Greek EU presidency in 2014.
