Through this resolution is required to abolish administrative guidelines for the Ministry of Infrastructure's reaction procedure, start complementing and changing the automotive bill, as well as on the two-month deadline to adopt new administrative instruction.
In the resolution proposed by the MP from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lutfi Zharku is also required in the six-month term to liberalise the automotive counterpart market.
Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekaj, in an interview for Economy Online, says this resolution does not force them to make these changes. However, it says that for the sake of civic interest, citizens will begin changing and fulfilling the law.
It doesn't force us to abolish administrative direction. But as minister, I'm saying I work in the interest of citizens and in fulfilling the demands of citizens, and I'm looking at all the opportunities to complete the change of administrative direction, but also of the law, in advance of law and administrative instruction. We've had a report from T The IEX, which was also from our Ministry of Experts who are represented in this group and we have received recommendations, but those recommendations have not mentioned any monopoly or contract interruption, because the law allows a license of these companies to be 1, 2, 10 unlimited and we have acted on the law. But before the citizens I say that we will start completing the change of law and administrative direction”.
Minister Lekaj says the new bill will take the interests of citizens into account.
He says they will also make liberalisation of this market and that there will be a decrease in the price for counterparts.
“We are focused on opening the market so that we can look at all the prices that are in the region and go even cheaper so that we don't affect citizens' pocket because our economy is known as it is developed, wages are known and we can't compare Kosovo to one country in the region or elsewhere because wages are low unemployment is, and in this direction we will be careful and careful to work in the interest of the citizens”, he said.
In this interview for EO, the first in Infrastructure, has also spoken of some villages' dissatisfaction with highways.
He says they will try to answer the requests, but he stresses that the final word will be said by experts.
In this direction, when you mentioned Elez Khan, we had requests from the citizens. We have adopted the Kosovo Government as well as the second key to Ferizaj and the other one at Gerlica for the Year that links the municipality of the Year, because it has been completely ignored because experts have said it can become a key to the Government that authorises the Ministry of Infrastructural to negotiate with the company Bechtel Enkawi, and since it has been their project and is responsible for security and maintenance within 24 months, and in this direction I think that after the experts agree with Betel Eccel will start work, he says.
Lekaj also talked about infrastructure projects, including highways.
He says it will end in June of next year.
I think in June of next year, the entire 24km project will be completed. We're going to start with projects in the next segment of 1 and 2 that go up to the White Land, which is pretty high at around 125 million that should be available tools”, he says.
Minister Lekaj says he will soon launch the Dukagjin highway, which, according to him, will affect economic development and job creation.
It criticises the opposition, which he says is opposing this project only to benefit politically.
“We are on the map of the detail of the expropriation surplus project and after we are finished we will begin with the Dukagjin highway project. There's been a noise from the opposition by individuals who probably used it more for politics because they didn't shoot him for not needing the Dukagjin highway. I have said that a state cannot be developed unless it has developed infrastructure and I can freely say that Kosovo is a leader in the region in terms of road infrastructure”, he says.
Lekaj says such projects have the full support of Prime Minister Haradinaj and the Government in general.
