Today in “>Adem Jashari” Square in Skenderaj has opened the traditional dress fair, organised by the “Dugression” and under the auspices of the mayor of Komuna, Bekim Jashar.
Women from Pristina, Kachanic, Malisevo, Shtime, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Drenas and Skenderaj will exhibit the works of our traditional clothing.
At the opening of the fair, Chairman Jashari has said that these days our city is a host of many cultural events and events, entertainment and sports, in honour of the arrival of fellow countrymen for holidays in their homeland.
“Panairi is part of organized activities, which we're happy to have collected many capable women who do traditional clothing, exposing handwork art”, Mayor Jashar said.
He has added that this event will also serve for the new generation of Albanians who were born in the states away from Kosovo to be closely recognised by the rich tradition and culture of our traditional clothing.
