This, as responsible institutions are still in the phase of preparing tender documents for the implementation of the decommission of objects-detonation project and the Sancing of assets that are no longer in operation, writes “Koha Ditore” today.
Only this phase, which began on July 2, 2018, will last about 25 months and end with a final report expected to determine the financial value of this project.
The Kosovo government in 2013 had decided to launch the process of decommissioning inactive units that do not prevent normal operation of active units, and after their removal it also envisioned the closure of active units of “Kosovo A”. That's because of old age and large levels of pollution.
