The decision is because of the many complaints citizens have received about their children's strong participation and the use and sale of alcohol for them.
Following last night's order by Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala to close the activity of “Beer and Win Festival Pristina”, this minister has warned that they will inspect similar discotheques and festivals.
Market chief inspector in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Lulzim Syla, has told news.net, that legal measures will be taken against the abusers, exactly against organisers.
“These measures mean that we will send the course to the tribunal and the Court will deal with them”, showed Syla, who added that during last night's inspection they have looked closely at how children were served alcohol.
He has made known about news.net, that the ministry is not against such organisations, but, as Syla put it, is against their misuse and selling alcohol to children under the age of 18.
With the right market we're not against any manifesto, but we're against all those who think that our children sell them alcohol under the age of 18 where only last night have police identified children as offering or serving alcoholic beverages and also identifying those people where we're going to take legal measures to this organiser. We as a country must protect our children from these evils that are happening, and we will not allow any ven or beer that our children are served in local beer or ven or whatever it is, Syla has declared.
He has also said such festivals are welcome, but, provided organisers abide by rules and laws.
We welcome all manifestations and festivals, but, provided they are within the rules and laws they can organise against us, they will support, but not our children to sell alcohol”, he said of the news.net.
Syla has said that similar shares like the one last night in “Beer and Win Festival Pristina” will not stop and continue at discotheques as well.
I'm appealing to you that this action has started, and it doesn't just mean at festivals, but in all discotheques we'll be present and we'll protect our children from the ferries people are making, said Syla.
He has indicated that during last night's inspection at this festival there has been an incident, where some young people have spoken out and police have reacted immediately and arrested the suspects.
