Two police sergeants Arrested for Abuse of Official Task

“IPK investigators have admitted yesterday (25.07.2019) authorisation by the Pristina Foundation Prosecutor to conduct quality interview of suspects of two police officials (both in the rank of sergeant) employees in the Directorate for Economic Crimes and Corruption in Pristina”, the IPK report said.
It shows that after interviewing the quality of the two suspects, two criminal acts “The use of official position or authority” and “The use of official information”, with the decision of the competent prosecutor these police officials have been arrested and given a 48-hour ban measure.
“IPK investigators in full co-ordination with Pristina Constitutional Prosecutors will continue to undertake other investigative actions towards full enlightenment of all the circumstances related to the case. Also, the IPK has recommended to the Kosovo Police continuing the suspension for police officials already arrested as suspects in the case as higher than”, the IPK report said, without providing more details.
