So Serbian media write today, referring to diplomatic sources in Paris.
According to unofficial sources of Serbian “Blici”, President Macron has informed his counterpart in Belgrade, Alexander Vuciq, of his plan for resolving the problem between Kosovo and Serbia.
France's plan on this level is to play a very active role in talks and the final agreement with Serbia.
“Finance wants to play a key role in resolving the problem between Pristina and Belgrade, but due to numerous obligations and jobs, it cannot be dealt with on a daily basis. France also claims to find a trusted man who will lead this mission in the Western Balkans”, these sources say.
According to these reports, this man is expected to be sent by the French president, Emmanuel Macron, and that through him the French influence is expected to extend to this region.
The role of France and the EU in this case, according to Serbian media, will reverse the US role in the process, and that Washington in this case respects the European Union's leadership in finding the agreement.
