Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli, at the same time, has been pessimistic about the possibility of visa liberalisation happening this year.
At a media conference, held on the occasion of taking over the SEECP chairmanship on the part of Kosovo, Pacolli has said it would willingly mean liberalisation would happen as of tomorrow, but, he said, “could not promise anything”.
Even after the journalists' insistence on providing a deadline -- the first MPJ -- has not said when green light will be given for Kosovo citizens to travel freely to the Schengen area.
Don't make me promise anything. I would willingly tell you tomorrow. But I can't tell you. We're working, we're on a good track for this”, he said.
Otherwise, it is Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who has said visa liberalisation will happen soon.
