They have said they will not take any steps back until their demands for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Albania's Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha has called the opposition battle facing the criminal government.

Tomorrow, July 8th, at 8:00, we all join Tirana as people with dignity, parents, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters of courageous Albanians, all together against the dictatorship of crime, in defense of freedom and dignity, for your families and children, for Albania as Europe! No step back! #Ramalic”, he wrote Basha on Facebook.

Even the chairman of the Movement for Integration, Monica Mayor, has called via Facebook to get everyone together “for a European Albania”

“This is the moment for a state with solid institutions that guarantees people's power over power and the future of young people, families, Albanian businesses. Tomorrow, all together for a European Albania. Not a step back!

This is the 10th consecutive opposition protest. It is held on the day when Albania's Parliament will discuss forming a commission to consider whether Albanian President Ilir Meta has violated the Constitution, where by decree he postponed local elections, on which decision his dismissal will depend.
