The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, dated 25,06,2019, has opened competitions for “Psicologists and professors” at educational educational institutions, where six psychologists and 4 professors are hired in the Pristina region.
In response, the Pristina municipality says the contest has been declared contrary to any legal provisions in force, in terms of the competence of proclamation, recruiting and any other phase of employment of the appointed profiles as higher.
According to the Pristina Community, competent for employment is the institution that conducts competition procedure, links the most employed contract, which is obliged to meet the rights and obligations at the workplace, which the employer provides, the latter simultaneously has and obligations defined with legal provisions in force.
But, Valmir Gashi, adviser to Minister Shyqi Bytyqi, in a response to KTV, says that in the absence of municipal policies, the ministry has planned a number of 50 professors/psicologists, for whom it has secured the relevant budget.
“This is a State policy based on the recommendations of the Kosovo Assembly and the Government of Kosovo for increasing this professional service of professors/psicologists in educational institutions. In the absence of municipal policies, and as you know, countries for professors/psychologists in the past have also been misused by relevant municipalities by complementing these countries with teachers, August has planned a number of 50 professors/psychologists, for whom it has secured the current body of”, Gashi said.
He has stressed that it is in the competence of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to announce competitions for free countries under its domain.
