The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has entered the final phase of the long election process.
The party's leadership has already decided that the Electoral Assembly will be held on August 3rd.
A very busy election process has been forwarded to the LDK this time. The beatings, charges of counteracles between candidates and delegates have made the process hard.
So far, however, none of the names mentioned for LDK chairman have officially declared the candidacy for the party's first.
The names, which are mostly mentioned this time to take the helm of the party, are current chairman Isa Mustafa, party deputy chairman and chairman of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri, as well as MP Vjosa Osmani.
Meanwhile, two or three other names have been mentioned, however, none of them have been declared so far, writes the Balkans.info.
As the process is going to end, delegates who will vote the new (old) LDK chairman appear to be in trouble of who to vote on this time.
In view of this, a mood exists for a new leader to come to the helm of the party, so that the largest party currently in the country in terms of the number of MPs can bring new spirit.
And among these comes Lutfi Haziri's candidacy, a multi-year-old party expert.
Haziri, who has four times won the mayoral elections and three times for deputies -- never missing -- is being named the most creditable name for leading in the new LDK mandate.
Remember that former LDK chairman and one of the first leaders of this party, chief opponent Nexhat Daci, had come out long ago in support of Lutfi Haziri.
He had said the only one who can revive the LDK is Lutfi Haziri.
According to him, only Haziri is the one who can successfully install the Rugovian spirit.
He said in an interview that it is not the first time he mentioned Haziri's name, and he says that there are arguments.
Meanwhile, it is expected to be seen how things will flow through August 3rd, as Lutfi Haziri earlier declared he is on a preliminary agreement about the candidate's name for chairman.
