This is because Education Minister Shyqi Bytyqi has signed the administrative directive, which stipulates the terms of the application.
Minister Bytyqi made that known by using a Facebook post that you can read below:
Dear friends, I am sharing with you a good news about the category of teachers who prevented our cultural decay. Albanian education personnel, who during the last decade of the 20th century, kept their education in Kosovo alive from today to date, are receiving their dignity.
I am very happy to have signed the Administrastration Guide for the conditions and criteria for law implementation in additional compensation for Albanian education workers of the Republic of Kosovo who worked from 1990/91 to the 98/99 school year, as well as Administrative Guide for Owners of Schools and other facilities issued for Albanian education during the 1990s/99.
With the entry into force of these two guidelines, the Law on the Status of Albanian Education Workers of the Republic of Kosovo will be implemented from the 1990/91 school year to 1998/99, which has been adopted during my mandate as minister of education.
Education workers and family heads who issued home-school facilities during the 1990-1999 period will always remain part of the most glorious history of the Albanian people.
