Mustafa has said this statement was starting to build Kosovo citizenship
The adoption of the Constitutional Declaration on July 2, 1990, was the act of crucial importance to Kosovo's new history. This statement was undoubtedly the starting point of building Kosovo's citizenship. This act of particular historical value was also an expression of the aspirations of the people of Kosovo for freedom and independence. Expressing deep gratitude to the deputies of the then Parliament, who with dedication and determination under extraordinary circumstances adopted this declaration, declaring Kosovo equal entities in the Yugoslav federation. The efforts of the people of Kosovo for independence will be remembered in all generations”, he says.
