Muller testifies to Congress: We tried for a year to interview Trump, he refused.

The Congress Committee is questioning former Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller about the contents of his report, which in a way implies that President Trump has prevented justice.

The chairman of this committee, Jerry Nadler, asked Mr. Mueller regarding President Trump.

Mueller: Yeah.

Nadler: And is it true that for more than a year you've tried to provide an interview with the President?

Mueller: Yeah.

Nadler: And is it true that you and your team advised the president's lawyer that, quote, <x0... an interview with the president is vital to our investigation?

Mueller: Yeah.

Nadler: But the president still refused to sit down for an interview with you?

Mueller: Yeah.
