After several months, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has managed to equip itself with civil certificates.
The MPB's tender with certificates on the part of the Procureing Organisation in March had been cancelled, prompting almost all municipalities to work in the absence of certificates, replacing them only with white paper.
Trouble mostly had large municipalities because of the many demands of citizens to handle these documents.
However, certificates problems are over, as the MPB has announced the bidder and has begun to supply municipalities.
In a response to Indexline, MPB has announced that this institution is equipped with them on Monday.
“ARC/MPB on Monday, with 01.07,2019 equipped with civil certificates and distributed them to all Z. JC in municipalities where there is a lack of certificates, even in Z. JC in Pristina” says in their response.
In the absence of certificates, the Civil Recording Agency had asked all Civil Situation Offices in Kosovo to use alternative methods in the absence of forms.
Thus, municipalities mainly large ones like Pristina, Gjilan, Prizren instead of certificates had issued documents in white paper.
Meanwhile, several smaller municipalities such as Drinas, Podujevo, Obiliki have not lacked certificates.
Otherwise, the total value of MPB's contract for civil certificates supply is 415,660 euros. The duration of this contract is set to be in 36 months.
