Most migrants, 83 percent, have chosen Greece and Spain. More than 17,990 have entered Greece, while more than 12,440 migrants have entered Spain.
Migrants from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran and Somalia are mainly found in Greece.
On Libya's coast Thursday, a new disaster occurred, resulting in the sinking of the burmons by 150 migrants. There is concern that no survivors exist and that the death toll from the beginning of the year could rise to 800.
