The IOM also published information that between the beginning of July 24th and July, across the Mediterranean, 36,670 immigrants entered Europe, reports Anadolu.
686 migrants lost their lives on this road. However, they consider, while based on figures, that the number of migrants coming to Europe this year has decreased in proportion to the same period last year.
Most migrants, 83 percent, have chosen Greece and Spain. More than 17,990 have entered Greece, while more than 12,440 migrants have entered Spain.
Migrants from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran and Somalia are mainly found in Greece.
On Libya's coast Thursday, a new disaster occurred, resulting in the sinking of the burmons by 150 migrants. There is concern that no survivors exist and that the death toll from the beginning of the year could rise to 800.
