(7 years ago)A major explosion has occurred in Russia, where one person was killed, and 13 others were hurt. More than 70 rescue teams and firemen reacted with an explosion, including two helicopters. The blast is not yet known exactly why it happened, but it came from a gas pump. [...]
The fire was seen from a few miles away because it was up to 50 feet [50 m] high, which reminds us of the Chernobyl disaster in 1986.
One person died as a result of the explosion, and dozens more suffered burns in the body.
The thermo power plant “Mytischi” operation since 1992 and its capacity is 1068 megawatts.
Mytishchi City is only 20 kilometers from Moscow City.
