Over the next two days, France's President Emmanuel Macron will remain in Serbia for an official visit.
As Serbian media write, Serbian authorities have already made all necessary preparations in Belgrade.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced today that it will take maximum security measures, on the occasion of the visit by Macroni, which will lead to the change of the traffic regime in certain parts of the city.
However, the reason for Macroni's visit to Belgrade will, among other things, be the return of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, the French president's visit, Macro, have described it as of very high importance.
During these two days, in addition to meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, Macro is expected to meet with other Serbian political representatives, further broadcast the news.net.
French media '%Frans 24, days ago wrote that, after the failure of the Paris Summit, Macro from Belgrade will try to restore Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
According to “Frans 24”, one of the main topics of the discussion of President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Belgrade, will be Kosovo, which, as this medium writes, Macron wants to help resolve the blocking of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
In addition, France and Serbia are expected to sign agreements in various areas during this visit.
It should be noted that the Paris Summit had failed because of the positions of Kosovo and Serbia regarding dialogue and the 100 per cent tax on Serbian goods and products the Government of Kosovo has imposed.
However, officials from the government of Germany and France had said that this Sam had been put off indefinitely.
Since November of last year, when Kosovo had also imposed a 100 per cent tax, Serbia as “takeback” to this tax has blocked dialogue with Kosovo.
On the other hand, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron are making efforts to persuade both sides to return to the negotiating table.
