Through a Facebook post, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli has said that the election of Ursula von der Leen at the helm of the European Commission is good news for Kosovo and the region, writes Reporter.net.
Kosovo's top diplomat has written that he looks forward to working with the new president for Kosovo's European perspective and visa liberalisation for citizens as an important element for the European perspective.
Ursula's election, von der Leenen, has also welcomed Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
Ursula von der Leyeen was today officially appointed as president of the European Commission. Its appointments voted 383 European lawmakers, 327 rejected it and 22 abstained.
