Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, in response to the closure of shops in northern Mitrovica, who took the move in response to the 100 per cent tax on Serbia's products, has said the Kosovo government protects citizens in the north, opening sales points in co-operation with Kosovo businesses.
Serbia's “Simulation of the humanitarian disaster is another failed attempt to destabilise. After exposing this scenario, long ago warned, the country's government remains committed to providing security for all its citizens, indiscriminately! In close co-operation with the business community in the Republic of Kosovo and after consultations with all relevant institutions, we have organised the opening of temporary retail points in the country's north. The action, co-ordinated and planned, is aimed at providing all basic products to residents of that side”, Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.
Furthermore, the head of Kosovo's executive has said that today, once again, we have given the institutional answer to all actions orchestrated by Serbia, “the solution which stamps the country's sovereignty, civic solidarity, the responsibility and care of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo towards all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo”.
No Kosovo citizen will be the victim of the special war orchestrated by outside agents. Kosovo is a state we share together as a society”, Prime Minister Haradinaj has concluded.
