A land in Fushe Kosovo has become a source of contention between two families. Both families claim they are right in this land, which they have purchased from a Serb.

The latter has even been physically attacked by one who claims that the earth belongs to him.

Police have arrested the person in question, while there has still been conflict between the Silikaj and Bekteshi families on Thursday.

Selim Sylkaj returned last year from Sweden, the country in which he was living for years, to invest in Kosovo. The same one is interested in buying a land in Fushe Kosovo to start the works. Sylkaj tells Kosovo that he has made arrangements to buy this land with Serbian Milos Zivkovic, land on which someone else is currently working.

“I have accumulated a budget to come to Kosovo, because I'm not being beaten there anymore, I've encountered a contact with Montenegrin, this is the Montenegrin owner of the land, and we've been notified with one in Sweden, and I have a friend of mine who has a parcel, can take it. I talked, and I started making a deal, but these guys aren't. They're insisting that it's theirs, they bought it 20 years ago, I always insist on documentation, possessive sheets and the copy of the plan for me is”, says Sylkay.

He vows to have documents that this two-acre land is his, and that he has the possessive sheet. Serbia Zivkovic says he has told him he has won the judicial dispute, and that this land is his. For what other side, he said, had beaten the Serb on Saturday.

They came at 3:00 p.m. on the rule, possessive sheet, copy of the plan and we've been robbed, called the police. The police have come, assisted, and we've got an agreement that, until 6:00 p.m., we've been moving the property away from here. At 5:30 p.m. Fahria himself came, we were sitting there... armed with a swimming pool, and I thought they were saying goodbye to each other, they beat the owner, beat him up, mediated the police”, he says, among other things.

Sylvia says if the other side doesn't release the property today, it will come with heavy machinery and start working.

Despite Sylkaj's accusations, Fahri Bekteshi, who is currently working on this land, says.

He for the KP shows who he bought the two hectares from, 18 years ago. In addition, it says that the case has been in judicial disputes for five years with the Serb.

This property has been Sarajevo's Sad Comerctı, has been under trial for 18 years. We made a deal with these, for purchases, we gave him some money, and in the meantime, a Leskovci Serb has made it a possession sheet on two acres. Of two and a half acres, two hectares have been divided to Leskovci's Serb, and they have taken the possessive sheet. But we have a judicial context that five years with Serbs... they have barely come to the property, which is still inconsistent”, Bekteshi says.

The same denies beating up Serbia's alleged landowner on Saturday. All of this is a trick from him, which he says has even sold the land to some people.

It's a Serbian fraud, the conflict is being made by the Serb, not us. That he should wait for the court's verdict, not bring me that people, gangsters, thieves and I will release him. These too are helping, for their normal interests, because they have their own interests”, he says, among other things.

Bekteshi says he has been waiting for a decision by the Court of Appeals for five years, since it is in judicial contests. If a decision is made to free the property, he says he will release it.

Kosovo Police also reported on the beating. The 24-hour police report says: “has arrested the male K-Albanian suspect, since the same following a disagreement over a property has physically attacked Serbia's male-Serbian victim with what case has caused bodily injury. The victim has accepted medical treatment. The police unit during the investigation into the suspect's body has found and confiscated a weapon with a clip and 13 bullets. Four K-Albanian men have also been interviewed in the case. At the prosecutor's decision, the suspect is sent to the holding”, the report says.

On Thursday's property, which the Kosovo Police are reportedly opposed to, have also stood by for preventing any incident between these two sides.
