Although for the ministry, this does not prevent the functioning of Kosovo diplomacy in other states, recognitions of political issues stress that the lack of diplomats represents Kosovo's non-seriousness and failure of foreign policy.
The Republic of Kosovo has a total of 30 diplomatic missions in place, but some of them continue to lack ambassadors from Kosovo, due to delays in the appointment and in decree by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MPJ) and on the part of the country's president Hashim Thaci, writes the Voice newspaper today.
The countries where these ambassadors are missing are Great Britain, Australia, Sweden, Slovenia, Albania and the Liaison Office in Serbia. Although connoisseurs of political issues in the country estimate that the lack of ambassadors undermines Kosovo diplomacy and drags Kosovo's lobby on important issues, such as new recognitions, visa liberalisation and Kosovo's membership in international organisations, they do not think by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
