Northern Minister Ekrem Mustafa has been asked by the Commission for Internal Affairs over the non-integration of over 10 young people from Kosovo who have conducted the Academy for Security in Turkey. For several years, these young people have remained unvolved in Kosovo institutions. MPs, members of the Commission for Internal Affairs, have recommended to the Legal Office under the Interior Ministry that as soon as possible deal with the issue.

Several years ago, Kosovo and Turkey had entered an agreement that meant sending some young people under the Kosovo Police to be educated in Turkey. However, this number of over 10 young people, with their return to Kosovo, was left without jobs.

Commission member Fatmir Xhelili has laid down this problem, before Interior Minister Ekrem Mustafa.

“Akademia for Turkey's Security, one year they have learned Turkish and English languages, during that time the ministry has stock-shaped stock market pay for their schooling. This was at the stage when we had a very nice investment in statebuilding and police structures, and it's not necessary that these people continued in that superior training in Turkey that the police had taken advantage of for sure of order and public safety. Members of other states also participated in that academy, but Turkey has partisans with its share of stay and non-paying for them. With their return, there have been closed doors from the Ministry for the non-employment of these young people, who have had tasks within the MPB). As a commission, we have responded to these gentlemen' complaint because we consider that our country has been forced to employ these people who have completed the Academy with very good results. We've come with a recommendation that finding the form that these young people have been employed under the Ministry of the Interior and our state to fulfill a legal but moral obligation to these young people, Xhelili said, It says Periscope.

From what is understood by reports on the Home Affairs Commission, it is noted that these young people have been unable to employ this employment because of legislation in force, which directly enabled them to evolve in the Kosovo Police.

Commission for Internal Affairs member Rexhep Selimi said he does not understand how these young people are out of work, when that schooling is done under or as a dedication to the Kosovo Police.

We know that a problem was the Law for Rescription in the Kosovo Police. I do not want to comment on what was the legal basis the MPB was supported by sending them young ones to training, but I know that the state of Kosovo has taken an obligation to send them young people to treatment. They are even paid as Kosovo Police cadences, so they have received that pay as cadries. Taking these as grounds, then raising concerns has been on this basis. Finally, schooling has been dedicated to the Kosovo Police”, Selimi said, I follow Periscope.

The questions and recommendations of MPs, members of the Commission, have been answered by Interior Minister Ekrem Mustafa. He has said the ministry has offered these young people with several proposals to be employed by MPB agencies, but according to him, they have sometimes rejected this option, wanting to be directly part of the police.

It's a huge concern to not sign these young people, to the fact that they themselves have performed an academy and have remained on the street. I've met some of them and I'm aware of their interest. The legislation in effect at that time has also been unable to integrate them into the ad hoc Kosovo Police with the preliminary schooling documentation because our legislation does not have that institutional line for them to immediately evolve into the Kosovo Police. But in advance, my predecessor, he offered you an opportunity, but they refused, for the agencies we have in the ministry, they refused and wanted to intervene immediately in uniform, but the legislation in power has made it impossible for them. I've even talked to the Legal Office and talked that they should evolve into our institutions. We also ask for your help because it will help that this agreement that those 11 people have, in fact, remained 8 that three have integrated, to make a solution in the shortest”, Mustafa said, follows Periscopi.

MP Rexhep Selimi has again reacted to this.

The procedure was submitted to each recruit, since the legislation in force did not allow them to evolve directly then under which legislation was submitted to Turkey”, Selimi said.

The minister has again answered:

I have read the agreement, and under the agreement, it has definitely not guaranteed them involvation in the Kosovo Police. The moment you were given that right, they refused to be assigned to various agencies”, he said.

Meanwhile, MP Fatmir Xhelili has reacted, saying that now these young people agree to be employed everywhere in institutions, which are the framework of the MPB.

Now we have the request that they be employed in institutions, not definitely in Police”, he said.

Officials from the Interior Ministry, together with Minister Ekrem Mustafa, have promised that this issue will be addressed. /Periscope.
