Kosovar in Switzerland sentenced for ISIS support

An outright condemnation of freedom removal is absolutely necessary, to prevent it from carrying out other dolphins, the Federal Prosecutor has written, among other things, on the charge filed against 49-year-old Kosovar, charged with supporting the Islamic State (IS). The accused has repeatedly and clearly spread [...]

The accused repeatedly and clearly expressed his criminal conviction that he acted with the deepest conviction in this regard, said further in the indictment, writes Nzz.ch.

But meanwhile, the site of this radical IS follower from Canton Baselland is unknowable. According to his lawyer, he was expelled from Swiss authorities, broadcasts albinfo.ch. But neither does he know where the accused currently lives.

The trial process against him has been initiated by the fact that the accused had filed complaints against the warrant issued against him. Under that warrant, which after the complaint had automatically become an indictment, Kosovo had published in different social media and on two different websites, more than a hundred propagandistic material for the Islamic State (IS).

The Federal Intelligence Service had tracked him down by scratch, in 2014 a condemnation of the Federal Criminal Police, records albinfo.ch.ch.

More than a year after that, by February 2016, a raid had been made on the defendant's residence, which had resulted in alarming findings. In his cedars, photographs and videos containing images of more extreme violence were found, broadcast albinfo.ch. It was about cruel executions, including children in the role of executionists.

Just as serious are the statements the accused had made during some interrogations. Asked about the 2015 terrorist attack on the editorialisation of the satirical magazine “Charlie Hebdo” in Paris, he had said it was a pleasure to hear about this attack.

According to the indictment, he added that someone who speaks ill of the prophet deserves to die conveys albinfo.ch. In another interrogation, he also said that whoever speaks ill of Allah or His Messenger must be killed.

The Federal Criminal Court has charged the IS's radical supporter Monday in absence of outright freedom of seven months for supporting a criminal organisation, for violating the IS Law, as well as for possession of violent content materials.

The seven-month prison sentence the court has declared has been slightly higher than that one by six months, than the prosecution had requested.
