The sister of the prince of Saudi Arabia's Crown will face a court trial in absentia in Paris after being accused of kidnapping and beating a worker who was involved in the renovation of her luxury apartment in the French capital.
Hassa bin Salman's lawyer has said she has denied charges of involvement in armed violence, participation in someone's anti-will and the theft of an Egyptian man.
France has issued an international warrant for the princess in November 2017, and the hearing session is expected to be held under its absence, translates Periscope from The Guardian.
Hasa is the sister of Mohammed bin Salman, heir to the Saudi throne. It is often celebrated in Saudi state media for charity work and women's rights campaigns.
The 43-year-old girl, more specifically, is accused of pushing her bodigar to beat up the worker Ashraf Eid, who suspected that she had taken a picture with his room phone, which she had decorated. She accused the worker of planning to sell that picture.
According to the indictment, which was seen by Reuters, Eidi told police that Hassa's bodigar had tied his hands and punched him.
In an article from the Le Point news store in France, the worker claimed that the princess had shouted: “Kill that dog, that son of a bitch deserves to live. ” /Periscope
