Ilir Meta's investigation, foreign experts under way

The request for President Meta's dismissal was made by a group of Socialist Party deputies, following his decision to cancel June 30th as an election date and to decree 13 October for local elections.

Today, the Investigative Commission has begun investigating Meta and is expected to control the legality of the president's acts.

Some of the commission members have also requested international experts in the process, while the preliminary plan for the investigation has been approved by the commission. / BW
