Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, while in Paris he is completely ignored by the leaders of the French state, it seems he is not at all hindering that fact. Not only has President Macron, with whom he said he spoke French in Berlin and had a very good time, but not his French Prime Minister, nor his French Foreign Affairs Minister, writes Periscope.
Haradinaj in Paris met only with the Minister of Internal Affairs because, according to him, he has gone there for “liberalisation of visas”. In fact, what Haradinaj is doing, trying to absorb the issue of visa liberalisation is a scandal in itself.
With this rather no institutional approach, it is only reopening an already closed issue, such as meeting the criteria for visa liberalisation. Kosovo has met all European Union criteria for visa liberalisation, and member states now have nothing but to make the decision.
This decision may procrastinate, finding different reasons, but it cannot be long gone. Apparently, Haradinaj is aware that he cannot escape even long, he is already trying to absorb it through these visits and subsequent propaganda statements.
But what Haradinaj is not aware of is the huge damage he himself is making this process closed, reopening it and discussing new conditions such as tax removal in exchange for liberalisation. By reopening this closed issue, he is offering the possibility to each member state separately to negotiate individual conditions they may have in relation to Kosovo.
Fulfilling all criteria that were set for Kosovo has confirmed the European Union itself in its latest report.
All established standards on the Visa Liberalisation Guide” have been met, EU Commissioner for Migration, Internal Affairs and Staff Dimitris Avramoopoulos had also said.
The Haradinaj government, which fulfilled the final criterion, was the adoption of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro.
But what Prime Minister Haradinaj is now doing, which seems to be trying to find a reason for tax removal, following numerous international pressures -- behind Germany -- and now France -- is also creating the possibility for Finland, which is not without demand, as well as other member states -- to extend their decision on individual terms. /Periscopi/
