The heat peaks were recorded in Lingen, in Low Saxony, passing the record of 40.5 degrees Celsius that were registered just a day ago in Geilenkirchen, also located west of the country, points to DWD in its account at “Titter”.
Several hours ago in the same region, record temperatures of 41.5 degrees Celsius were registered.
