Another week remains until the new LDK chairman is officially known. These elections will be held on August 3rd, but it is still unknown who are all candidates competing for the post. During this many time, there are names which are cured as potential candidates.
During yesterday's day, former Deputy Minister of Local Power Management Bajram Gecaj, in a Facebook post, had hinted that the head of the Peja municipality, Gazmend Muharzier, may be a candidate for the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo. In this post he had written that “Something is being occupied”, but Mujarrier says the following days the situation will be clarified.
Muharnier says there are many good candidates in the race for the first of the Democratic League of Kosovo, and, according to him, time is demanding change.
I believe the following days will clear up the situation in LDK and who will be chairman. Public opinion will probably be informed very soon, of potential and normal candidates belongs to the Democratic League's Parliament, to elect the chairman. I don't know who deserves it, usually deserves those who are the best, we have very good in the Democratic League race. Time is known, we see the following days, those who run even those who are going to choose”, says Mujarrier.
Asked whether they have talked about preliminary coalitions with other political parties, Muhharrier says the LDK has once remained to elect the mayor and in terms of red lines, says he personally has no party.
It's too early to talk about coalitions. It's the first time I have to choose the chairman, and then the possible ruling coalitions. I for no one, I am to develop policy with those who have the trust of citizens, now we see it depends on the new chairman, on all the policies that have to be chosen”, Muhajer notes.
There are several names that are now and many days lactated as potential candidates for the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo. However, it is reported that according to party status, any candidacy will be announced on August 3rd, the day elections are held, for the first of this party.
