A lifeless body of a man has been found in Spain after a river came out of its bed. This was caused by heavy rainfall in the northern Spanish region of Navarras during Monday night. Local government officials announced the news.
In some published images, you see the torrential water of the “Cidacos” River, whose short level went from 11 inches to over four meters, going out onto the street and taking with it everything in them.
The storm that hit the Navarra region took local authorities by surprise, as rainfall was four times larger than official forecasts in this country. Moreover, the storm occurred just one week after high temperatures caused by two deaths in Spain.
Local Navarra authorities advised people to stay inside their homes during Tuesday as heavy rainfall is continuing and water has taken some of the highways, writes “Reuters”.
