Participants from various countries have been unearthed from the National Theatre to the “Zahir Pajaziti”, to continue in the library “Hivzi Sylejmani”, where there will be literary classes, visual arts exhibitions and interpretations by diaspora students.
At the opening of this festival, the director of the department for the preservation and cultivation of education and culture in the diaspora, Malice Hashani, said this is the first edition of this festival.
It has thanked all Albanian teachers who teach supplementary lessons to the children of the diaspora, saying they are thereby maintaining Albanian traditions.
Allow me, in this case, to all our students and teachers wherever they are in the diaspora we thank them specifically for their unspoiled work to keep our tradition alive. With their labor, determination, and dedication, Albanian schools are now kept alive in Austria, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, and many other parts of the world. Despite the difficulties of keeping alive the supplementary learning of the Albanian language, our highly devoted teachers, very lovingly keep the Albanian school alive, our identity”, she said.
The diaspora children are the ones who are most enjoying these activities that are especially designed for them.
From Italy to participate in the festival had come Sara Hoxha, who says this event is very good after all children living outside Kosovo are gathered.
We are all, we are with the entire Albanian community living around the world. It's very nice”, she said.
She's enjoying the festival with the children of the diaspora, and Marigona Zeka says, even she is very happy to have come to Kosovo with her friends and friends.
Zeka: I'm so glad we came here.
