According to Eurostat, in the report titled”A is your popular country for tourists”, a report referring to 2017 data, Albania results in the main destination of Greek tourists with 2.1% of the spent nights.
Meanwhile, their second destination was Germany by 1% and then the United States of America by 1%.
The arrival of Greek tourists to Albania relates to the fact that about 40% of Albanian immigrants live in this EU member country.
But Greeks who come on holiday to Albania spend very little, about 27 euros a day, while spending about 11 nights.
