And one of the families the municipality is claiming to have usurped municipal property is the witness family Mehmet Saliuk, KTV reports.

Witness's wife, Minire Saliuk, says she, five years ago, was allowed by the municipality of Drenas to live in this settlement.

Although in the municipality's ruling it has been warned that it will leave violently if in seven days it does not free it, Saliuku says it will not leave this apartment, since there is nowhere to go.

Despite numerous demands and attempts to meet with the mayor of the municipality, Saliuku says the municipality had not found a solution for it.

Despite the KTV's insistence on getting clarifications regarding these usurpations, Drenas municipality officials have refused to speak before the camera.

They, through a issued communiqué, have made it known that they have issued 14 verdicts to free public property seized for years.

The municipality has also indicated that in addition to the investigation that has already started for these usurpations, the Economic Crime and Corruption Unit has also launched investigations into several residences that were shared by associations released from the KLA war in Drenas.

But, the head of the KLA Veterans' Organisation in Drenas, Enver Hajdari, says it is not announced of these investigations, while adding that for all the residences given to this organisation in use, it is the decision of the Drensian Municipal Assembly.

But, former Darenas Community Minister Xhavit Drnori, says the municipality's head has been informed of these usurpations for two years, but has not taken action.

KTV has also tried to get an answer from the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina over investigations into these properties, but this prosecutor has failed to answer whether he has launched investigations into these cases.
