Dogs leave the cage, slaughter 29 cats

Two dogs of the pit bull race broke out their cages in an animal shelter in Alabama, U.S.A., and crushed 29 cats to death.

The director of the Dothan Animal shelter, Bill Banks, told TV W TVY that the dogs had managed to exit the cages and entered the cat area.

City Mayor Mark Saliba told CNN that the incident will be investigated.

Unfortunately, tragic events sometimes urge us to postpone things a little faster --”, he said.

We're all sad and surprised by the event. Animal security is the top priority in shelter”, he added.

Officials told local media that dogs were caught later, but did not confirm whether to be killed.

Animal fans in social media expressed anger over the event, demanding an urgent investigation.
