Djuric said his arrest came after addressing President Aleksandar Vuciq and it was done to increase pressure on Kosovo Serbs.
The “This move had a clear goal in Pristina, due to the appeal of terrorist KLA leader to The Hague, to do some kind of counterweight, for the sake of calming the public. But there was also an attempt that a false image of Serbs as criminals” before international institutions and the media once again was created. Djuric told TV Pink.
Djuric strongly condemned the arrest of Sanishqi and demanded his immediate release.
He was also declared regarding Ramush Haradinaj's resignation from the prime minister's post, which he said has sparked a political conflict among Albanian representatives for the leader's position in the new government.
Djuric said Haradinaj's resignation was not surprising, but that it was a new “political moment coming from Pristina and that pressure on Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija would be on the rise”.
