This determining week for initiated dissolution of Kosovo Assembly

Such initiative is not excluded this week, even though they want to respect the process of domestic elections in the LDK, which is held this weekend.

If there is delays on the part of the president for beginning consultations with political parties, overcoming this situation, then Vetevendosje will initiate the dissolution of the Parliament and the country going to the polls. Rexhep Selimi, deputy of Vetevendosje, has told Radio Kosovo that the political parties' readiness to go to the polls is important.

Then, if all political parties have been declared for elections, why not go with the dissolution of Parliament and create the situation for new elections as soon as possible. But on the other hand there is another political subject that has internal developments, maybe I'm assuming and I'm personally thinking that we should expect their reaction, because they at the end of this week have elections”, he said.

But, despite internal elections in the LDK, the initiative for the dissolution of the Assembly could happen even before 3 August, Selimi says.

The “Yes, it could be before August 3rd, we don't rule it out, but in the next few days we'll do something like this”, he said.

And by LDK no one was declared about the idea of breaking up the Parliament, while AAK Deputy Chairman Ahmet Isufi says they are willing to do so, even though he believes counseling will start soon:

“We are willing to declare the dissolution of the assembly, because the situation created requires urgency for changing the situation”, he said.

And Albanian Pantina, from PSD, says Vetevendosje Movement now speaks of the government's dismissal, but has never undertaken such an initiative. She said they are waiting if there will be calls for consultation on the part of the president, on the contrary they will go with the dissolution of the Parliament:

“We are not for populist and pompous statements, when we know that they are not feasible, we are waiting for the president if he will achieve a compliance with coalition parties initially PAN, because they have the right to introduce even a new candidate, even though it's hard to find the vote of confidence, unless the AAK and the Serbian List agree, if not, we, even in co-ordination with other subjects in the Assembly, believe we will reach compliance and take the country into elections as soon as we have, said.

And this week is seen as determining whether there will be consultation with the president, or two-thirds of the vote deputies, to dismantle the Assembly so that the country can go to early elections, following Haradinaj's resignation.
