Thursday's report did not provide any more details, writes The Washington Post, broadcasts the Klan Kosova.
Development comes as the Military Council and leaders of protest movements are in discussions on a power-sharing agreement.
The military alliance and a pro-democracy coalition agreed last week on a joint sovereign council that will rule for a little over three years until elections are organised.
Both sides say a diplomatic push by the US and its Arab allies was the key to ending a situation that raised fears of civil war.
